One pattern submission down, well almost. I've been frantically working on a pattern and sample for Reynolds' spring line. It has some lace along the neckline. I spent 6 hours knitting last night. I finished only six rows, three of which were all purling. Ahh! It really isn't a difficult pattern. I don't know what my problem was other than being too tired and distracted. How many times can a phone ring at night? I got up this morning and was able to finish it with no mistakes. I LOVE it. It is definitely the cutest sweater I've ever designed. Very simple, but very sweet.
I purchased Knit Visualizer to help me chart the lace pattern. How did I get by without this program before? It saved me so much time when working decreases within the lace pattern. No erasing stitches on graph paper everytime something needs to be changed. And, it prints out the chart and instructions in a nice format which I can submit with the pattern instructions. Thank you Knit Foundry!
Now I just have to size the JCA pattern and then I can get back to working on my sweater for Big Girl Knits 2. The deadline is in a couple weeks and I'm starting to get worried about finishing in time.
