Lara of Math4Knitters has put together a podcast on how to resize and substitute yarn for Starsky. Even if you don't plan on making Starsky, it's a good exercise in the steps to take when resizing and substituting yarn for any knitting pattern.

Thank you Jordana for designing such an awesome cardigan! I will be knittting Starsky for my mom as a Christmas gift.
Also, Lara, the substitution instructions will come in handy since I won't be able to use the same yarn as the pattern.
I will try to send a photo when it is actually finished!
