Back from TNNA with a fire inside me! It was a great weekend; I met some wonderful people, learned a lot and had some JP sightings (the family and I play a game of who can spot the most Jordana Paige bags "in the wild"). Mostly what I gained from the weekend though, was a boost of energy and excitement. When I started the company I couldn't get The Knitter's Purse to market fast enough. I saw the need and wanted to have it in stores immediately. Although I still have that love for the company, it's easy to get swallowed up in the daily routine. After going to TNNA I'm rejuvenated and ready to take the next step to fulfilling my vision for the company. Timing is so important and everything seems to be just falling into place perfectly.
I cast on Crumpets on the airplane in a deep purple. It's adorable; pics when it's finished. So far no problems. My only complaint with the pattern is it said to use 36" needles. For the bodice, this is way to long. I recommend using a 24" needle and then changing to the longer needle when working the skirt.
