Some notes on questions I've received about Isabella:
There are three rows of eyelets on the front and two on the back. It isn't an error in the pattern. Why? It's just my own aesthetic, I liked the way it looked with two in the back and three in the front. But, you could certainly add a third row to the back.
Knitalongs starting up that I know of:

Craftster.org
Sexy Knitters Club (nominated)
If you know of any others, let me know and I'll add it here.
On another subject, yesterday's designing went so well. I got three projects planned all of which I absolutely love. I am excited again about knitting and terribly anxious to get started. Tomorrow I am going to shop for the perfect yarn.

The planning and dreaming stage is a lot of fun, isn't it? Lovely Knitty pattern!
Jordana, just a quick question about Isabella. On the hem, could I just the turn the row after the 5 rows of stockinette and pick up the stitches on the cast on edge and knit two together and make the hem right away instead of finishing it later by sewing? I hope you understand what I mean. Thanks, Katrina
Hi Katrina,
Technically, you could. However when I tried to do so, it caused the hem to flip up and not lay flat. I experimented with picking up every other stitch, every second, etc so it wouldn't pull too tight, but it wouldn't work for me. You could definitely give it a try because I agree it would make more sense than sewing the hem at the end.
Although I'm not in a KAL, I'm knitting Isabella and posting about it on my blog. As I'm not having any problems, so far its mostly been "oh look, I've knitted another ball".
Jordana, on the fifth row (WS) after the turning row, I folded the hem toward me and picked up each stitch and purled 2 together to create the hem. It worked beautifully and lays nice and flat. Of course, I'm using a little thicker yarn than you called for, so maybe that's why. Katrina
Glad it worked for you! The less finishing you have to do, the better.
I've started a little KAL page on blogger. I haven't started my Isabelle tank yet, but I would love it if other knitters joined me when they are ready to knit it.
