Finally getting caught up with work and sleep after getting back from a full week of tradeshows. I just have the warehouse to organize. Sunday night I dumped everything in there and have been avoiding it ever since.

This was my fourth year exhibiting at Stitches West and I enjoyed it the most. My mom and sister helped me as they always do, and Erin helped on Sunday. She ran the booth on Thursday night too, which I am so grateful for, so that I could celebrate my sister's birthday. And, Vicki and Pat of Fiberge, were great booth neighbors.

Last year I didn't purchase the yarn, Rio, I wanted from Blue Moon Fiber Arts. I have a rule that I must have a project in mind before purchasing. For some reason unknown to me, this yarn isn't on their website, so when I saw it again I had to buy it. I still didn't have a project for it, but decided that if I've been thinking about it for a year then it isn't an impluse buy. So, after coming to this conclusion I went back to my booth for my wallet. When I returned a woman was holding the last hank in the colorway, Lagoon, that I wanted. Ahh! I wanted to yank it from her hands and run to the cashier. I restrained myself, although I'm sure spectators would have understood if a fight had pursued. I went to another booth to help my mom find some yarn. We then returned to find my yarn waiting for me on the hook. I snatched it up fast!

I'm glad you had fun at the tradeshows! Take the time to relax before you jump right back into things. Your body will love you for it. Don't you love it when you get the yarn you want?! I was waiting for you to tell me that you pulled a couple of hairs out her head. lol. Yarn has such an amazing affect on knitters! :-).
