I just started a new project after not knitting for over a month. When I watch TV and my sister says, "why aren't you knitting?" I often jokingly tell her I've given it up, I quit. This time my one month break does feel somewhat like I gave up the craft. I didn't have a strong desire to pick up the needles again, but had to since the project is a birthday gift. Still, I haven't really been into it, just kind of blah. I'm hoping this will change with my upcoming designs.

I have several projects that I'm working on to submit to various publishers. Yesterday I did a full day of boring accounting, which is hard to do when it's 80 degrees outside. I'm rewarding myself today by pulling out the colored pencils and sketch book to work on my designs. The next two months will be a lot of late night knitting to get it all done as they're all going to have deadlines around April/May. Glad I rested with that month break!
