Fall Knitty is here. My pattern: Ayla. It's a cute little backpack I designed for my cousin's birthday.

My projects are moving right along. Friday I finished the sweater for BGK2 and mailed it off. Now I just have to finish writing the instructions. Last night I cast on the back of the sweater for my winter Knitty submission. I completed 12 inches so I should be able to finish the back by tonight. With this sweater finished by the end of September I'll get to actually knit myself something on my plane ride to Myrtle Beach. Even better, I've been holding onto a gift certificate to Commuknity since December which I can use for this project!
