I just about disappeared on everyone. What's been happening...last month I moved into a studio in Santa Cruz. No more commuting over the hill each day from San Jose. As someone who grew up in little Carmel, it's nice to be living in a small town again. It suits me much more than a city. I've enjoyed decorating my new home, buying furniture and hanging pictures. Besides bills I don't get much mail at home, so I've remedied this by shopping online. Etsy has become a dangerous addiction.

I've been working on knitting my mom a cardigan I designed for JCA. I don't have a camera (will need to add that to the online shopping list) so I can't take photos at the moment. It's a simple Stockinette cardigan with a lacey flower design at the neck. Which reminds me, I'm on ravelry now and have added all my designs. You can find me by searching for jordanapaige.

Looks like I'll be on TV again. Twice in one year, what luck. Vicci of the show Coach Vicci contacted me. She's a knitter and saw my bags at Commuknity. We'll tape the show November 13th and it will air the following week. It will air in the Bay Area, but I think it's also available online. More details as I get them.

And, speaking of the Bay Area, my friend Erin just opened a yarn, fabric and embroidery shop in Santa Clara last weekend called Bobbin's Nest Studio. I was out of town and sadly missed the opening. Erin, I promise to come this weekend!
