Delivery day! The new product came today...it's Bella in a new color. I hadn't even seen a sample of the bag in the new color, just a fabric swatch. This could have been a really dumb move on my part. I held my breath and opened a box.
My heart leapt, it was love at first sight. I mean it, absolute love. Of course I always think my designs and colors are fabulous, but there's something about this new color that I just can't take my eyes off of. I ran to my office, dumped everything out of Pearl Bella and into new Bella. I couldn't get everything in it fast enough.
Since I didn't have a sample, I don't have photos of it yet. I don't want to tell you the color because I don't want you to get a picture of it in your mind. You just have to see it. So, I'm only teasing you here, you're going to have to wait a few more days.

I am so excited that you're coming to the Baskets of Yarn Winter Retreat in Boone, NC, next week. In fact, I'll be meeting you at the airport and bringing you home with me for the evening before our trek up the mountain early Thursday morning. Since I'm also teaching classes at the event, I look forward to getting to know you before the retreat. I promise not to gush over you too much, and my family and I will really try to show you what "southern hospitality" is all about. I hope you're not allergic to dogs, as we have two--only one of them lives indoors (Westie) and the other (coon hound) keeps the front porch safe from unwelcome intruders. Let me know if you have any special preferences. You'll have your own bedroom and won't have to share your bathroom with my 13-yr old son.

Waiting to see the new color!! I love my bag I bought last Friday, at Stitches from you. Everyone was looking at my friends new Bella also. Will be watching for the new color!

It was lovely meeting you - I was one of the hordes of ravelers who visited your booth so I don't expect to be remembered, especially since I'd already done my dough and couldn't buy one of your fab bags...
